BUILDING & PLANNING DEPT

The Building & Planning Department promotes community development by administrating city ordinances, along with state and federal development regulations.

The Building & Planning Department uses existing and projected information to ensure the Comprehensive Plan supports the goals for the future of the City.

They also assist residents, landowners and businesses in various planning issues including: annexation, lot line adjustments, short and long plats, variances and zoning issues.

Any new construction or modification to a structure including electrical, plumbing or HVAC requires a permit.
